Amy Pawlowski Confirmed as OhioLINK Executive Director

Congratulations!

Effective October 27, 2020, Amy Pawlowski has been named executive director of OhioLINK by Ohio Department of Higher Education Chancellor Randy Gardner. OhioLINK is Ohio’s academic library consortium. Pawlowski joined OhioLINK in 2013 as deputy director for operations and e-licensing. She has been serving as Executive Director in an interim capacity since February of this year.

As noted in the formal press announcement, "Pawlowski has nearly 20 years of experience in special, public and academic libraries and library-related private industry, with expertise in technology and the e-books/e-journals publishing ecosystem. Prior to joining OhioLINK, Pawlowski worked with the Cleveland Public Library, CLEVNET and Overdrive, Inc. She also served as archivist for the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra. Pawlowski holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University, and a master’s degree in music from the University of Hartford."

Pawlowski has frequently participated in NISO events, and we are excited to welcome her in this new role to the sixth and final Change Management Roundtable Discussion, scheduled for Wednesday, December 16.
