Last month, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced that grant funds are currently available from a number of museum and library programs for fiscal year 2026, with an application deadline of March 13. The agency has also announced the availability of grants from the Native Hawaiian and Native American Library Services Programs (applications due April 10).

The announcements follow a November federal court ruling that reinstated IMLS grants previously terminated by the Trump administration. (Note that the White House has since appealed that decision).
