Molly Hirst is the Data Curation Specialist for Health Sciences at the University of Michigan, where she supports health sciences researchers with data management, data sharing, and other research data services. She contributes to process improvements for U-M’s institutional repositories, collaborating with colleagues across the university to support a more centralized approach to data sharing practices. Previously, she was a Senior Data Curator at Dryad, where she led the efforts on human participant data curation workflows. Her background is in evolutionary biology, where she studied reproductive biology and genetics in howler monkeys.
