Marcia is the UCSC library’s primary resource for MARC metadata. She evaluates the effectiveness of bibliographic metadata for resource discovery and improves the library’s discovery system via a blend of metadata cleanup and enhancements and suggestions for discovery layer adjustments. Marcia led the Metadata Services Implementation Team during the library’s migration to Alma/Primo last year, and she continues to manage or assist in special projects related to the management of bibliographic metadata.
