Jeremy is the Assistant Director of the University of Michigan Library Copyright Office. He has masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Michigan School of Information and a certificate from the U-M Museum Studies Program. He helps U-M students, faculty, and staff understand aspects of copyright law that are relevant to their scholarly and artistic work and supports access to the Library's collections for scholarship and research. In the last couple of years, his work has focused significantly on issues and challenges in using and incorporating generative artificial intelligence in research and learning contexts.
