Oliver Pesch has been elected chair of the board of the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) for the 2008-2009 term, effective July 1, 2008. As chief strategist for EBSCO Information Services, based in Birmingham, Ala., Pesch helps guide the direction of the Company's e-resource access and management products and services initiatives.
