February 15-17, 2027
We are thrilled to announce that the NISO Plus conference is returning to Baltimore, Maryland from February 15–17, 2027 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.
Organized by a committee representing libraries, publishers, vendors, and more from around the world, the meeting format will emphasize conversation over presentation and offer opportunities throughout for participants to network, collaborate, and explore solutions to challenges currently facing scholarly communications. Here’s what attendees said they liked about last year’s NISO Plus Baltimore conference:
NISO Plus is one of my favorite conferences to attend each year because of its focus on creating connections and conversations among attendees
Connecting with people doing related work in a variety of areas, have conversations, exchange ideas, incubating future work, and seeing people who I often talk with virtually.
Just an overall great vibe among topics and speakers, very inclusive
We are planning two full days of sessions on February 16–17, including keynotes from information industry experts, plenty of opportunities for networking and problem solving, and sessions that focus on the needs of the community. We will also continue our tradition of the Miles Conrad Award and Lecture, as well as our other awards programs: the NISO Plus Scholarship program, the Ann Marie Cunningham Service Award, and the NISO Fellows awards.
On February 15 we will convene two half-day pre-conference programs as well as JATS-Con, a full-day pre-conference for JATS users.
Our meeting program will be announced in November. For the latest details on sessions, schedule, and speakers, visit the NISO Plus page or subscribe to our NISO Plus announcements to receive updates and news! Early-bird pricing is good through January 11.
