ISO/IEC TR 5812:2026 — Information technology — Semantic metadata support in office documents
Technical Committee: ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 34
“This document outlines: descriptions of use cases for identified application domains that benefit from additional semantic metadata support in office documents; descriptions of semantic metadata requirements from experts of identified application domains; specifications of possible technical strategies for associating domain-specific semantic metadata with office documents entities. This document applies to users of office documents, for example, publishers, librarians, archivists, data scientists and other document users, as well as office software developers and service system integrators. This document focuses on the methods of supporting various kinds of metadata, rather than on metadata itself.”

ISO 20954-1:2026  — Digital imaging — Measurement method for image stabilization performance Part 1: Optical systems
Technical Committee: ISO/TC 42
“This document defines the measurement method of optical image stabilization performance for still images compensating for handheld blur consisting of three rotational components, yaw, pitch and roll. It applies to consumer digital cameras with optical image stabilization for still images. Apparatuses such as camcorders and mobile phones with still image shooting functionality are within the scope of this document.”

ISO/IEC 19788-2:2026 — Information technology for learning, education and training — Metadata for learning resources Part 2: Dublin Core properties
Technical Committee: ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 36
“This document provides a set of properties for the description of learning resources from ISO 15836-1 and ISO 15836-2 using the framework provided in ISO/IEC 19788-1. This document specifies properties whose codomain is "literal" (as considered in early Dublin Core) and properties whose codomain is a resource class; the ISO 15836 series implicitly allowing both. This provides full interoperability at the time of expressing existing Dublin Core records with MLR, while allowing a linked data approach for the description of learning resources.”

ISO/UNDP 53001:2026 — Management systems for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — Requirements
Technical Committee: ISO/PC 343
“ISO/UNDP 53001 specifies requirements for a management system that helps organizations optimize their contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It provides a structured way to embed sustainable development into organizational purpose, strategy, operations and decision-making. The standard helps organizations identify and assess their beneficial and adverse impacts, engage relevant interested parties, establish meaningful SDG objectives, collect data and evaluate progress. It uses the Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to support continual improvement and move organizations from simply aligning with the SDGs to taking and optimizing action.”
