Jewel Cummins has a Ph.D. in American Indian Studies with a minor in archives. She also has a Master of Legal Studies with an Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Concentration and a Master of Library and Information Sciences with an Archival Certificate. She is a member of the Collaboratory for Indigenous Data Governance and a Fellow for the General Commission on Archives & History on the project “The United Methodist Church and Indigenous Boarding Schools”. Jewel’s focus is on promoting work at the intersection of disciplines, bringing a transdisciplinary approach to create useful relationships and solutions.
