CCC President & CEO Tracey Armstrong Wins 2024 BIG Innovation Award

CCC, a leader in advancing copyright, accelerating knowledge, and powering innovation, announces that its President and CEO, Tracey Armstrong, was named a winner of the 2024 BIG Innovation Award recognizing organizations, products, and people bringing new ideas to life in innovative ways and presented by Business Intelligence Group.

Since becoming CEO in 2007, Armstrong has led CCC through a period of tremendous growth and innovation, collaborating closely with publishers, authors, universities, businesses, and industry associations around the world to help address copyright issues and establish alliances. A leading voice on global copyright, artificial intelligence, FAIR Data Principles, and data analytics, Armstrong is also President of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFFRO) and champions CCC’s “We Not Me” program promoting corporate and individual social responsibility. She also serves on the Board of Harborlight Homes, a Massachusetts-based non-profit Community Development Corporation that cultivates just, equitable, and sustainable housing opportunities, and was named to the Forbes 50 Over 50 list, highlighting dynamic female leaders and entrepreneurs who have achieved significant success.

Under Armstrong’s leadership, CCC has recently won Best of Show for its RightFind XML discovery solution at the Bio-IT World Conference & Expo Europe and was named to the KMWorld 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management. The Boston Globe cited CCC as a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts and a Top 100 Women-Led Business in Massachusetts.
