About the Forum
A lot goes into building an institutional repository. But once it’s in place, how do you make sure that you take advantage of its benefits? During NISO's one-day forum you will hear from speakers who address the next, key steps to making the most of your repository. This one-day event asks library and information service providers to think about how to take advantage of an organization's repository once it is implemented by looking at:
- Populating the repository
- Metadata and formatting challenges
- Rights management issues
- The OAI Object Reuse and Exchange Project
- Faculty use and attitudes
- Electronic theses and dissertations
- And additional related topics

- Registration closes November 26, 2007. After that date call the NISO office to arrange on-site registration. A processing fee of $50 will be added to each on-site registration.
- Cancellations made by November 22, 2007 will receive a full refund less
a $50 processing fee. After that date, there are no refunds.

of $99 for Sunday, December 2nd. Reservations must be made by 3 p.m.
(eastern time) on October 15, 2007 to receive this rate. After that time,
reservations will be based on available space and at the regular rate.
