About the Forum
This free, half-day forum, cosponsored by the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) and the Book Industry Study Group, Inc. (BISG), will provide a big-picture look at the development and impact of common solutions-based standards for librarians and publishers alike. The session will focus largely on the preparations underway to build standards for tomorrow's supply chain and will call for industry-wide participation and consensus in their development. Learn more about why standards are important for your organization and how you can get involved.
During this forum you will learn about:
- The Changing Model for Standards Development
- Emerging and Established Standards for Successful Content Management
The forum will end with a moderated discussion exploring your thoughts on areas that need further investigation and next steps.
