
Collaborative Library Resource Sharing:
Standards, Developments, and New Models for Cooperating
Julia Gammon is Head of the Acquisitions Department at the University of Akron University Libraries. She is currently chair of the OhioLINK Collection Building Task Force. She is the co-author of "Practical Cooperative Collecting for Consortia: Books-Not-Bought in Ohio" which she wrote with Michael Zeoli (Collection Management no. 28 no.1/2.). She has spoken to many consortia on ways to implement cooperative collection management.
She was past President of the North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG) and is active in the ALA and the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) committees. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Serials Review, and Library Collection, Acquisitions, and Technical Services. She was the recipient of the ALCTS Leadership in Acquisitions Award.
