I am not sure how agendas are prepared for these meetings...  One of our
developers on the XC project, Mlen-Too Wesley, is available to sit in on
this upcoming meeting if that would be okay with you all.  He is the
developer of an NCIP module for the Drupal Content Management System.
It enables Drupal web applications to initiate NCIP requests to an NCIP
responder (such as the NCIP Toolkit - which itself provides access to
the circulation functionality of an ILS).  

 

The NCIP Drupal Module is one of the components of XC's next generation
catalog, although it is also designed to stand alone (it uses a standard
Drupal mechanism called hooks to allow Drupal developers to take
advantage of NCIP in their applications).  Since he will be leaving the
XC project and moving onto another opportunity very soon, this might be
a good chance to hear about his work if this fits with your meeting
plans.

Happy New Year!  I hope you're all warm and healthy!  And ready to
charge ahead with NCIP in 2010!!

Our next conference call is scheduled for Thurs, Jan. 21 and that's just
a couple of days after MidWinter ALA ends.  Would it work to move this
call to the following Thursday, Jan. 28th at the same time (1 pm
eastern)?  Please let me know if this proposed date will NOT work for
you.
