Hello,
It would be very helpful if the endorser’s of KBART or NISO would put a link to their KBART compatible title lists. Some vendors have done this such as Emerald, see: http://www.emeraldinsight.com/kbart/index.htm. Perhaps there is already a page that gives a list of the KBART endorsers and links to their websites where you can download the title lists, but if not this would be extremely helpful to those of us who maintain a knowledge base of this information. I did find a list of the endorsers from the NISO KBART page, but this doesn’t include a link or instructions on how to actually get the KBART data file.

UKSG and NISO Announce Eight More Publishers Endorse KBART
Support and Demand for KBART Increasing Within Knowledge Community
June 13, 2011 – UKSG and the National Information Standards Organization (NISO) are pleased to announce that another eight publishers are now able to supply metadata that conforms to the recommended practice, KBART: Knowledge Bases And Related Tools (NISO RP-9-2010). Endorsement of this publication, which contains practical recommendations for the timely exchange of accurate metadata between content providers and knowledge base developers, indicates that the format and content of data supplied by the publisher to knowledge bases and related tools conform to the KBART recommendations.

KBART (Knowledge Bases And Related Tools) was set up following the 2007 publication of the UKSG research report "Link Resolvers and the Serials Supply Chain." Central to the efficient operation of the OpenURL is the knowledge base, which consists of data supplied by content providers including publishers. The report found that a lack of awareness of the OpenURLs capabilities and requirements is impacting the quality and timeliness of data provided to populate knowledge bases, and thus undermining the potential of the sophisticated OpenURL technology.
