The deadline for constituency responses is 2 February, 2009, to allow time for the comments to be compiled for consideration by the JSC at their meeting in March 2009. Note that each constituency committee will be setting their own deadlines for comments in advance of 2 February.    

]]> http://www.niso.org/blog/?feed=rss2&p=44 0 RDA draft by month’s end? http://www.niso.org/blog/?p=33 http://www.niso.org/blog/?p=33#comments Wed, 22 Oct 2008 17:10:37 +0000 Todd Carpenter http://www.niso.org/blog/?p=33 Roy Tennant is reporting on his blog at the Library Journal that the full draft of RDA will be distributed by month’s end.  There’s no confirmation on the Joint Steering Committee website — indeed minutes or agendas from any meeting since April are not up yet.  The original release  had been scheduled for August, but the group was unable to hit that deadline.  The group maintains that there will be a three-month public comment period that will extend into January.
