conf-date in Green doesn't allow font face changes like bold or italic, but all of the other conf-* elements within mixed-citation do allow font face changes in green (conf-acronym, conf-loc, conf-name, conf-num, conf-sponsor, conf-theme). This can be a problem for an archive when the original publication style was to have the conf-date information in italic.

For example, this reference:

Bergenhem, C., S. Shladover, E. Coelingh, C. Englund, and S. Tsugawa. Overview of platooning systems. In Proceedings of the 19th ITS World Congress, Oct 22-26, 2012, Vienna, Austria (2012).

where "Proceedings of the 19th ITS World Congress, Oct 22-26, 2012" appears in Italic cannot be marked correctly in Green by an archive

Submitter Proposed Solution

Add font face elements to conf-date
