  1. 3.2.1.2 and 3.2.1.3  Metadata

The basic and enhanced metadata requirements do not contain full citation information. Students are required to provide full citation information when quoting references in their assignments, it’s reasonable for them to expect their discovery system to provide this information. This includes for example for an article title, journal title, author names(s), date, volume, issue, spage. This should be provided by the content provider as part of basic metadata.

Submitter Proposed Solution

Add additional fields to the basic metadata to include full citation data.
