There is no version number for the schema. Versioning of the schema is a best practice to ensure that users know whether they are using the most current version and to keep archival past versions available since not all users will transition to a new version at the same time. |

Recommend that a version number be added to this and all future versions of the schema and that this number be identified in a comment line near the top of the schema file and in the file name. Suggested file name format:
iso25964-1_v0_5.xsd (for version 0.5)
iso25964-1_v1_0.xsd (for version 1.0) |

Email from Stella Dextre Clarke on 2009-Nov-30 approved the addition of version 0.5 to the schema and test document and the addition of the version information as a comment in the documents and in the filenames of each. Date used will be the date of the DIS standard to which the schema conforms, i.e. 2009-Sept-18.
Changes were made on 11/30/2009 by C.A.Hodgson and the webpages referencing the schema were updated. |
