I am Anand Patel working at ICMR NIC CGO, Delhi India. I want to convert PDF Indian medical journals to PubMed XML format for our project. I want to know weather I can do this with any application of NLM and if it is available as Perl module. |

The following response was sent to the submitter on July 1, 2013. ================================================================= Dear Anand Patel, I'm sorry, but I am not aware of any tool that will convert PDF to PubMed XML without a good bit of customization. The real complication here is that the lack of uniformity in the way that articles can appear in PDFs that makes it difficult for a transform to understand which pieces become which elements in the target PubMed XML.
