"courier service" At our library we would assume this means a commercial delivery service such as Purolator or FedEx. This is a delivery method we distinguish from "mail" (the Canadian postal service) or any of a number of regional/local delibrary services, which we refer to by name.
"jiffy bag" It's not clear to me why you're including both "jiffy bag" and "padded envelope" in this glossary, or what distinguishes a jiffy bag. Do you want to discuss the pros and cons of bubble wrap lined envelopes vs shredded paper?
"requesting library" Also called borrowing library.
"shipper" Might the shipper not also be the requesting library, shipping the item back to the lending library?
"transit" Might this not also apply to the transportation of the item from the requesting library back to the lending library?
