| Description | Comment period: May 10, 2011 – June 9, 2011 Earlier this year, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) produced a three-part standard (ISO 28560) governing the encoding of data on RFID tags for item management in libraries. This revision of the 2008 edition of the NISO Recommended Practice on RFID in U.S. Libraries was developed to bring the advice from NISO in line with international standardization efforts. |
