Title NISO/UKSG KBART Recommended Practice: Final Draft for Review
Name NISO/UKSG KBART Recommended Practice: Final Draft for Review (456K)
Description This version (draft 16) of the joint NISO/UKSG KBART (Knowledge Bases and Related Tools) Recommended Practice was distributed to the KBART Implementers (testing group) list on September 11, 2009 for review. The following accompanied the draft:

----

We want this document to be as useful as possible, and in order to make that happen, we want to test our assumptions in a real-world setting. We are seeking to confirm that organizations remain interested in testing our recommendations.

...

Our ongoing requirements from you will be explained fully in the webinar but will revolve around
* production and distribution, or receipt and processing, of a file that adheres to the KBART recommendations
* feedback to the KBART group about the recommendations and your experience of implementing them.

Finally, please find attached the KBART report. I would be grateful if you could take some time to read through this report. There will be opportunities to feed back any comments to the KBART group throughout the testing phase. Alternatively, if you aren’t able to take part in the testing, we would still welcome your comments on the report and you can email me direct with these comments.

Thanks again for your continued interest in and your forthcoming contribution to the KBART project. Let me know if you have any questions at this point.
